Posts about Jamie Lee Curtis
A beautiful moment as Colin Farrell shares the Irish music that inspired The Banshees of Inisherin with Jamie Lee Curtis
It felt like he was interested in everyone BUT Laurie. Even in the first movie, I was struck by how little Laurie was onscreen until the end. Kills kept her in the hospital and Ends was about this new character nobody saw or cared about.
I think Green got some things right but I wonder if the mood came from him or the score by John Carpenter. The cop skit from the first movie was bizarre.
I actually feel KILLS was the best because it focused on the random killings and the suspense and I really liked Judy Greer on it.
I couldn't stand the granddaughter, Andi Matichak made her so unlikable. I don't get why Kyle Richards was there half the time. I hated the contrived romance with the old cop.
If I'm honest, I much prefer HALLOWEEN H20 to any of these movies. H20 felt more like SCREAM in its tone BUT it did right by Laurie and offered a more satisfying conclusion than what we got in these movies.
In honor of Jamie Lee Curtis snubbing Danielle Harris, which of you have had a bad experience with your idol on Horror Conventions?
Personally, I have not yet, but I've read comments from some people who've complained about Linda Blair
I also recall going to a Friday the 13th panel and Betsy Palmer telling everyone that the script was a piece of shit while the writer was next there (and he didn't look pleased at all).
